Under certain conditions a company may prefer to employ staff via a recognised manpower company rather than employing people directly. The company wishes to be covered from a legal standpoint regarding all the obligations of the employer, while simultaneously maintaining management flexibility with regard to the employees. Shimony provides manpower contractor services and employs about 100 people on this basis. Clients are required to arrange back-to-back payments for this service in order to ensure that all payments are covered on time.
In Israel, manpower activity of this type is subject to the holding of a valid permit from the Ministry of Labor and Welfare, who supervise the activities of manpower companies and ensure that all criteria are met. We renew this permit every year as required.
The service is offered to both Israeli and foreign companies who wish to employ Israeli workers.
