Yosef Shimony (b. 1943) established Shimony CPA in 1978 (for the first eight years he was a founding partner in the firm Gafni and Shimony). Mr. Shimony has personally handled most of the major transactions conducted by the firm in the fields of IPO's, relations with clients from abroad and tax arrangements. He established the bookkeeping division which specialises in providing services to international companies active in Israel.
Yehuda (Dady) Zamir (b. 1958) has been a partner in the firm since 1986. Mr. Zamir has personally handled most of the major transactions conducted by the firm in IPO's as well as private issues, mergers and splits. He established the payroll processing department which also handles executive salaries for many of the largest companies in Israel. He is personally involved with the major tax consulting services offered to both individual clients and companies, and is the responsible partner for public companies and international corporations.
Itay Weinstein (b. 1971) has been a partner in the firm since 2002. He established the CFO services department and the outsourcing controller division, which provides services to a wide range of companies, particularly in the areas of hi-tech, biotech and oil and gas exploration. In recent years this division has accompanied several major exits of various start-ups, transactions valued at hundreds of millions of dollars each. Mr Weinstein serves as the controller / CFO of three public companies, including the preparation of prospectuses, the raising of capital and the implementation of SOX processes in Israel and abroad.
Nir Ben-Yosef (b. 1975), director of the professional services division, became a partner in 2011. Mr Ben-Yosef supervises the services provided to public companies in the areas of Israeli and international accounting (IFRS regulations), auditing and taxation. He specialises in business consulting for individuals as well as major firms, the application and implementation of ISOX processes and due diligence for companies prior to their acquisition.
